(B) NON-PERSONAL INFORMATION
“Non-Personal Information” means information that does not identify you and cannot be used to contact you personally. Non-Personal Information may include: your date of birth, age, gender, postal code and non-precise geolocation information (e.g., your city). Non-Personal Information also includes “Usage Data” which is anonymous data associated with your computer, mobile device, and/or media system platform that includes in-media time, activities, purchases, badges and ranks.
Where practical, we endeavor to collect Personal Information directly from the person to whom the information pertains. When necessary, we will collect Personal Information from other sources.
When you visit our Website, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Website, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to our Website and information about how you interact with our Website. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”

PROTECTION AND SECURITY OF INFORMATION

ACCESS TO YOUR OWN PERSONAL INFORMATION
PIPA and PIPEDA permit individuals to access records containing their Personal Information, subject to certain exceptions set out in the legislation. We will respond to requests in the time allowed by the legislation and we will make a reasonable effort to assist applicants to respond as accurately and completely as reasonably possible. All requests may be subject to any fees and disbursements the law permits us to charge.
CORRECTING PERSONAL INFORMATION
The law permits individuals to submit written requests to us to correct errors or omissions in their Personal Information that is in our custody or control. We will:
- Correct the Personal Information and, if reasonable to do so, send correction notifications to any other organizations to whom we disclosed the incorrect information; or
- Decide not to correct the Personal Information but annotate the Personal Information to note that a correction was requested but not made.
E-mail is not a secure, confidential method of communicating your confidential and Personal Information with us. We will not use e-mail to send Personal Information unless you authorize this form of communication and accept all the inherent risks associated with this type of communication.
